Information about this Teacher

Mrs. Donna Larson has a B.A. degree in music education from the University of Northern CO, a B.S. degree in occupational therapy from Colorado State University, and is a registered Suzuki instructor, having completed training at the Colorado Suzuki Institute at Snowmass and at Boulder, Colorado.

She has played the piano and cello since she was a child and has performed with the Greeley Philharmonic, the Fort Collins Symphony, and the Colorado Springs Symphony in Colorado, the Great Falls Symphony and the Bozeman Philharmonic in Montana, and the SDSU Orchestra in San Diego, California. She is currently a member of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra in Golden, CO.

Mrs. Larson moved to the Denver area from San Diego, CA, where she taught piano, cello, and music theory for nine years. Her students have won competitions, and some have since gone on to major in music in college. She took time off from music teaching to home educate her three children through to graduation. She has since established a music studio in her home in Jefferson County (Foothills/Columbine/Chatfield area) and is maintaining time slots for sixteen students per quarter period.
